Beginning July 2 and running for 6 weeks, Breton Library will run its annual Summer Reading Program. The theme this year is mysteries and detectives with ”Agent 009 @ your library“. All elementary students and younger siblings with a valid library card are welcome to participate. The program is run on a drop-in basis with daily prizes just for dropping into the library and a coloring contest with prizes in five different age categories. To encourage reading throughout the summer, prizes are also awarded for the most books read by children. Different craft materials are available weekly to keep the creative members of the group busy.
